I've learned to tolerate people who think conventional cars run on magic. Internal combustion engines are complicated and vary wildly.
I cannot tolerate people who think electric cars run on magic. It's literally the simplest drive train outside of a soapbox derby and has existed relatively unchanged for a over a century.

I like Matthew Inman very much and am an avid reader of The Oatmeal. That being said, I do sometimes find his material to be a bit preachy and slanted. Then again, so is everything in the media.

Probably not. He's done well for himself in the past few years so he's likely to have purchased it himself. Notice part two is an impassioned plea to Musk himself for 8 million dollars.
